Description
I was born and raised in Safed, and from a young age I was drawn to the atmosphere of the old city – the stone alleys, the turquoise rooftops, and the quiet presence that fills the air. Â
The Abuhav Synagogue, built in the 16th century, always stood out to me. With its three Torah arks, raised bimah, and painted ceiling, it holds both beauty and a deep sense of history. Â
I painted this work to reflect the feeling of stepping into that space – a place where time slows down, and spirit fills the room.
