My artistic journey began with the study of realist oil painting acheived with thin layers and a limited palette. As i gained confidence, vibrant colors transformed my creative goals. I began painting with a free hand and found how even everyday objects from home can contribute to my art, breathing new life into them. Curiosity drives me, always eager for new creations and textures. My work reflects everyday life’s energy and experiences, from serene moments to bursts of vitality; they all receive expression in the creative process. Sometimes I am splashing colors, sometimes going deeper. Together the canvas and I generate a deep and moving duet, a continuous love story.

My name is Ruth Diana Hazin (née Dreyfus). I am an Israeli artist and creator with over 13 years of experience. I grew up in German Colony in Jerusalem, and now live in the historic city of Safed, where I find joy in my family life, being happily married and a proud mother of eight wonderful children. After studying painting and art under several esteemed Northern Israel artists, my artistic journey unfolds in a cozy studio within my home, where I pour my heart and soul into each painting. My work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions both in Israel and internationally. Additionally, I have contributed to a notable tourist project in Safed. I am driven by a vision and a deep desire to touch the human heart with my art, evoking emotion and connection in every viewer who encounters my work.
